Police are continuing their search.

His guardian, Zandile Thusi of Lot 14, made an emotional appeal to the public for assistance.

“I am deeply worried about him and I don’t know why he ran away from home. I am appealing for help to get him back. Whatever the reason for his running from the police, he is a child and needs to be protected and kept safe,” she said.

The iLembe District Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit has urged anyone with information to come forward.

Members of the public who may know Siyamthanda’s whereabouts can contact Acting Unit Commander Captain Franks on 082 826 8975 or investigating officer Detective Constable Masondo on 067 040 9639.
