A woman was killed and 14 people injured in a taxi accident on the N2 between Ballito and Tongaat on Friday afternoon.
Among those injured was a three-year-old child.
Samantha Meyrick of IPSS Medical Rescue said eight patients escaped with minor injuries, two were moderately injured and four suffered serious injuries.
They were all taken to hospital for further treatment.
The taxi driver was not injured in the accident.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
