WATCH: Crawford North Coast join viral #JerusalemaDanceChallenge

Crawford North Coast were not to be outdone, recently joining the #JerusalemaDanceChallenge.
The high school pupils completed the challenge based on an instructive video that dance teacher, Natashia Hooman-Roets put out, “It was completely voluntary, and I was blown away by how many students and staff wanted to do it. Everyone joined in.”
The high school then nominated the junior school to do the same and they quickly followed suit.
Unity was the theme for both performances, particularly because Crawford North Coast’s campus is where UThongathi School once stood.
The same values are continued by Crawford said Hooman-Roets, “It is all about working together to get through a tough time.”
Dance is an official subject at the school, and aside from the movement aspect, the programme focuses on human anatomy and general life skills.
“Ultimately dance is a universal language, and an excellent way to let off steam,” said Hooman-Roets.
