Ashton DUX title 2020 claimed by junior Yashin Arjoon

Yashin was awarded academic honours for an average of 90% and above and, was also recognised and awarded for the outstanding achievement award for recording a 90% and above average for four years in a row from grade 4 through to 7.

Ashton International College Ballito on Friday live streamed an awards ceremony from its school in Ballito.

Junior college pupils who clinched honours included Yashin Arjoon, recognised as the 2020 junior college DUX. 

“He performed astoundingly well, clinching every subject prize except Afrikaans.

“Yashin was awarded academic honours for an average of 90% and above and, was also recognised and awarded for the outstanding achievement award for recording a 90% and above average for four years in a row from grade 4 through to 7,” said the school’s marketing manager, Jeannie Habig.

The title of runner-up for DUX 2020 went to Keosha Naicker.
