Ashton swimmers make their mark

Finishing among the top 10 were Van der Linde, Holton, Els and Beux Dempsey.

Seven Ashton International College Ballito swimmers represented KZN at the South African Open Water Swimming Championships held in Jeffreys Bay two weekends ago.

They were: girls 3km – Jenna Els (U16) and Beux Dempsey (U14); boys 3km – Jarryd Holton (U17), Riley Hilton (U15), St John Spoors (U15) and Stirling Dempsey (U15); boys 5km – Sven van der Linde (U17) and Holton; and boys 10km – Van der Linde.
