Ashton shines at netball regionals

Competing against seven schools, Ashton International College Ballito came close to reaching the final.

Ashton International College Ballito’s netball stars recently claimed a hard fought bronze medal at SPAR KZN Schoolgirls Fast 5s Netball Challenge in Durban.

Ashton competed against seven other schools in the Durban North regional category.

Finishing their pool in second position, they narrowly lost to eventual winners Danville in the semi-finals by just one point (12-11).

Their third place play-off against Crawford La Lucia was similarly close, but Ashton triumphed 15-14.
