Young Ballito fighter earns silver in Jiu-Jitsu debut

Jason Paladin is one to watch in the combat sports scene.

Ashton International College junior fighter Jason Paladin (11) impressed at the National Jiu-Jitsu and Grappling Tournament, finishing second in Durban.

The event was held on December 6 and 7 at DLI Hall at Greyville Racecourse, where the young Ballito fighter secured a silver medal in his debut appearance in the under-45kg junior division.

“He is very passionate about his training, and we cannot wait to see him in action at his next tournament,” said coach Morné Swanepoel.
