Ashton Ballito’s Cambridge matrics bag top results

The A and AS-level classes both shone.

Ashton International College Ballito has recorded a strong set of results in the 2025 Cambridge AS and A-Level examinations, reflecting the sustained academic commitment of both students and staff.

The results highlight consistent performance across subjects and reaffirm the school’s focus on academic excellence and holistic development.

The Cambridge AS Level forms the first part of the internationally recognised Cambridge A-Level qualification for pupils aged 16 to 19. AS Levels may be completed as standalone qualifications or combined with A2 to form a full A-Level, offering students flexibility and access to universities worldwide.

This year’s outcomes show high overall achievement at both AS and A-Level, with a significant number of distinctions awarded across a broad range of subjects. Performance trends indicate that senior learners continue to progress strongly through the grades, with particularly encouraging results in mathematics, sciences, languages and commerce.

Beyond the results themselves, these achievements reflect the strength of Ashton Ballito’s academic departments and the dedication of its teaching staff. Through personalised support, structured academic guidance and innovative classroom practices, the school continues to foster an environment that enables pupils to reach their full potential.

Graduates from the class of 2025 will pursue further studies at leading South African and international universities in fields including medicine, actuarial science, law, science and commerce – demonstrating the breadth of academic pathways supported by the school.

Looking ahead, Ashton Ballito remains committed to enhancing the educational experience it offers. The focus will continue to be on academic rigour, personal growth and preparing students with the skills, confidence and resilience needed for future success.

The management and staff of Ashton Ballito extend their congratulations to all pupils and their families on these achievements and look forward to the positive impact graduates will make in their chosen fields and communities.
