The Grade 12 student has been part of the Crawford International North Coast community since Grade 2. Her school journey has been shaped by a strong desire to always challenge herself, to get involved and to be committed to seeing through any projects that she started.
From the moment she started Grade 8 at the College, Skyler knew that one day she wanted to attain a coveted white honours blazer. Her determination and hard work resulted in her earning full colours in sport, culture and community service as well as earning half-colours in academics, translating into her finally obtaining her honours blazer this year.
Skyler also credits hockey for teaching her discipline, teamwork and resilience. A first team player at school, she is also part of the KZN Country District team. A highlight was representing Crawford International at a hockey tour in the Netherlands in 2025. Currently, Skyler also serves as a judiciary member of the Student Leadership Body.
