Northlands Girls’ High School
Integrity, Commitment and Compassion
Decades of quality education, first class facilities and stimulating programmes are the key ingredients to Northlands Girls’ High School’s (NGHS) 70 years of excellence.
With a consistent 100 percent Matric pass rate and Allan Gray Orbis “Circle of Excellence” School for the seventh consecutive year, high standards and quality education always remain at the fore at NGHS.
The school is proud to offer their pupils 24 academic subjects including music, IEB French and advanced programme mathematics.
The beautiful, fully equipped, state of the art music, media and art centres and consumer studies kitchens give the pupils a well-balanced high school learning career.
Outside the classroom, pupils grow on the sports fields and in the 20 plus arts and culture societies on offer.
They have full access to a modern gymnasium, swimming pool and Astro turf facilities keeping them at the top of their game. It is no wonder the school is home to South African representatives in chess, hockey, rugby and volleyball.
Provincially the school has a strong representation in swimming, softball, netball, hockey, fencing, chess, touch rugby, figure skating, soccer, gymnastics and music.
As they get involved in the innovative leadership, community service and environmental programmes, they grow into well-rounded, strong women of tomorrow.
