This is the public road that runs along side the Sasol petrol station toward the Sage Restaurant (Foxhill). This road is not only a disgrace to all who use it but is also extremely dangerous.
Despite many letters of complaint from the public and the businesses surrounding the road the municipality chooses to play deaf and dumb. When driving toward Sage we have to pull over onto the wrong side of the road to pass this stretch of road or wait, with cars behind, for on-coming traffic to pass.
This is just not acceptable. School children crossing there have been knocked down – there one of whom still has serious injuries.
Please councillors, do something before another accident occurs.
