Umhlali Preparatory School senior chess team won the KZN school championships, and are on their way to Bloemfontein to compete in the national school championships. Not only to compete, but also as defending champions.
We had a quiz evening at Azure on Tuesday November 19 to raise funds for the chess team. Once again the business people of Ballito opened their hearts and wallets. If I could thank the following businesses publicly:
Tiffany’s Spar, Mugg and Bean, John Dory’s, Wimpy, Revolver Records, Ballito Health and Boutique, BayWatch Car wash, Perfect 10, Silver Fox Eyelashes, Headhunters, Lula Boutique, Azure Restaurant, Savemore and Salty’s Pub.
The monies will be used to make the trip for our children even more memorable. We are blessed to live in a wonderful town.
