I refer to my email sent for your (municipal manager’s) attention via the KwaDukuza municipality website on November 25, regarding what I believed to have been a case of an unauthorised use of a municipal police vehicle. I have had no response or acknowledgement thereof.
To repeat what I reported, at 18h30 on Saturday November 23, I witnessed a municipal police vehicle, registration number KDM 53, being loaded with groceries purchased at Tiffany’s Super Spar, by a couple accompanied by their two small children. Furthermore, neither of the couple were in police uniform.
I am now resorting to address this matter in a public forum in the hope that this will prompt you to investigate the matter and take disciplinary action.
