Has anyone complained about SBV Security guards brandishing assault rifles inside the malls and shops? (Isn’t it illegal to brandish weapons in public?, Courier November 29). In the taxi violence, most attackers uses automatic Kalashnikovs (AK 47s) and they don’t care about bystanders.
In the CIT robbery they target a person holding the cash box. So, why rifles inside Pick n Pay shop? Worse case, not even one. I have never seen even one white-owned security company being attacked by Shanela. Even when some of their officers don’t have competency certificates.
