Cannot allow sacrifices to be in vain

God gave SA Mabida because He knew that only pure greatness can extricate this country from the shackles of an unjust system. Your resilience and unwavering determination in the face of adversity has earned you the title of the son of Africa and icon of the world. I am blessed to be born in an era knowing that a giant and legend of the century has walked on this earth.
As South Africans celebrate the remarkable legacy of one of the greatest men of this world, we need to advocate and reinforce his teachings of a corruption-free nation. As we move into the future without Tata, let us be confident knowing that his teachings and status as a liberation struggle hero globally will live on forever.
Madiba, you mentioned that you entrusted the remaining years of your life to the people of South Africa, which you achieved with the utmost decorum. Your work on this earth is done. You have laid the foundation and building blocks for all South Africans to embrace your ideals of a free non-racial democratic country. As a country and nation we can never allow the sacrifices you made and your ideals and aspirations to be in vain.
God has blessed South Africa with an abundance of mineral resources such as iron ore, coal and gold, but the greatest blessing God has bestowed on this beautiful land was the legend Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela.
You have stated, Tata, that “When a man has done what he considers to be his duty to his people and his country, he can rest in peace.”
