No waitress, no glasses – no custom

There are not that many kiddie friendly restaurants in Ballito, so after deliberation, and a long morning’s shopping, my visiting family decided it had to be Spur.
Well, we sat down, and eventually a waitress arrived to take our drinks order – which was only three items. We then waited and waited, and eventually attracted the attention of someone else who looked as if they could be helpful. As to the whereabouts of our waitress/order, never saw her again either.
After at least half an hour the second waitress returned with the order. Two Appletizers, one warm bottle of wine, and one glass (we were three!). She informed us she could not find any more wine glasses! Eish!
Well, we decided to wait for an ice bucket, ice, and more glasses could perhaps take another half an hour, so we took the decision to leave. We informed the manager at the desk, who appeared to be trying to listen to another irate customer at the time. He just looked at us blankly. Needless to say, we travelled home to Zinkwazi, hungry and thirsty, and made lunch at home! We all know, as locals, that the restaurants are busy over this period, but surely be prepared and train your staff accordingly.
Spur Lifestyle, you need to up your game so that we can visit you with pride in our local restaurants.
