First poetry festival was a success

The uHuru Poetry in Motion would like to express its sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the support provided by the North Coast Courier newspaper in promoting the uHuru Arts Festival that took place in December 2013.
This was a first time event, yet due to the media coverage provided by the newspaper it was able to attract about 250 spectators apart from artists performing. This was a huge success on the side of the poetry club as it was able to achieve one of its goals, which was to showcase the broadness of art to the community of Groutville and this year to expand this goal to the broader North Coast, iLembe region.
As uHuru Poetry in Motion we wish and trust that the relationship of this nature is still to continue in the year 2014, and kindly extend such support to others who might need it.
