Further to your article titled “We want answers”, on page three of the North Coast Courier dated March 7, we at Ballito Neighbourhood Watch wish to express our support for and gratitude to Salt Rock Neighbourhood Watch and IPSS for their sterling work in tracking down and apprehending the alleged perpetrators of a number of break-ins in the area.
According to your article the men were released the following day, causing an understandable reaction from local residents.
The community must receive a prompt and satisfactory explanation from KwaDukuza SAPS cluster for their actions.
We request that you persist in your efforts to obtain answers.
