It is with a very heavy heart that I write this letter – to retire was so hard! Is 65 years “old” these days? I wonder! I would like to say a very big thank you to all my advertisers who have been a part of my journey for 28 years. Some like Rob Cool are still in business and the many more who are not here for whatever reason.
To the Spar and Lifestyle family, what can I say to each and everyone of you who have played a huge part of my journey – and a long journey together it has been – thank you! No more meetings on site at 6.30am in mud and rain on a building site! Thanks guys for the memories, never to be forgotten!
Another huge thank you to the “girls” my ring will always be with me and I will treasure it and my memories and laughs with you all. Last but certainly not least to my family and Patsy who have been my strength, I could not have got through without your love and prayers. I will miss you all but will still see you around.
