Well done Andre Barnard for your reply to Mr Flett’s letter (‘Poor show to pull out of tournament’, Courier, March 28).
Brilliant call as a coach. Many coaches can learn from the decision you made for the wellbeing of our children. Sport in schools especially where rugby is involved needs more people like you. It’s about the children and not the parents (including spectators) that want to be pleased.
Mr Flett, try next time to find out what’s going on first before making inappropriate comments in the press. Thank you again Andre Barnard for putting our kids first and not falling into the “selfish pride” trap.
