I attended a talk by Sharon Louw arranged by the Dolphin Coast Bird Society and enjoyed the evening enormously. Sharon is a delightful speaker and very passionate about all forms of nature.
However she raised the fact that the incredible boardwalk at Dlinza Forest is closing at the end of May!
I had always intended to go, so together with a couple of locals drove up there yesterday. What a delight and a real tragedy should we lose such an attraction. As usual funding is required and should this attraction manage to be saved, it could possibly become self sustaining if it were broadcast more extensively through word of mouth and social media.
We are blessed to have such a beautiful country and to still have pristine areas available for us all to enjoy through the efforts of conservationists and dedicated others.
