I recently underwent a successful operation to remove stomach cancer. Today I am grateful to God and all those who prayed and gave support, both locally and internationally to my family and myself before and after the operation.
All your prayers have been answered, as my recovery has amazed and surprised many and my life has changed for the better.
I am thankful to the cancer oncologist Dr Rory Callinghan and his team, nursing staff of Alberlito hospital including Dr Deon Steer the surgeon and his partners.
As I recover and live longer and at last have found inner peace in my illness, now being a cancer motivator and working closely with the Cancer Association of South Africa has brought another level of my worldly duties.
Today I am mindful of all those who gave us support and many others unknown to me that stood by us, made me realise that so many people have been touched by my cancer diagnosis.
God bless Alberlito hospital and all those who have helped me, as cancer can be beaten. The days of miracles is not over. Be the change you want to see in the world (Mahatma Gandhi).
