The recent “downgrade”of South Africa should have our government worried. Endless strikes and more to come confirms again, that the government is not in control of the situation.
Notwithstanding the fact that we already have a bulging government and now, again, more ministries are, created but R1 billion of tax payers money. Where are we heading? Both Germany and Japan have 16 ministries only and let’s not kid ourselves, both these countries are far more complex. Question begs, do we not have the skill or the brains to run South Africa?
After Greece and Spain we are ranked third highest of unemployment in the world – nothing to be proud of. Here at KwaDukuza we are faced with hefty increases and one can only hope that the powers that be have stock of the situation and spend the money wisely and cut down on unnecessary expenses. No time to waste. . .
