Food for Life KwaDukuza is a non-profit organisation (Section 21 company) which is affiliated with Food for Life South Africa. Food for Life KwaDukuza is currently distributing over 1000 plates of free meals per week to the needy such as orphanages, schools, old age homes and to poverty-stricken areas.
Since the inception of our Food for Life relief programme in 2002, we have served 1.2 million plates of food in the KwaDukuza area. We have partnered with Stanger Child Welfare in assisting us in delivering meals to the destitute in and around KwaDukuza. We will be distributing 10 000 plates of food on Mandela Day, this Friday. The cost of this project is R50 000 which largely depends on sponsorships from businesses and the public. You can do your bit for the 67 minutes on Mandela Day by helping us prepare and distribute these meals or by sponsoring this event by donating in kind or in cash donation.
We appeal to the public to join us in this venture to prepare and serve the 10 000 plates of meals on this day. A donation of R125 will pay for 25 plates.
Should you like to be part of this project please feel free to contact us on 082 449 3879 or 082 829 3880.
