About ten months ago a happy-go-lucky Rasta man started a car wash at the Tiffany’s shopping centre. As time passed I’ve notice his little business getting busier. So to my surprise a few weeks ago I notice that he no longer opens up for business and I didn’t think to much of it until I bumped into Rasta Charles himself.
On my inquiry about the car wash he tells me he was told by the centre manager that he can’t have his car wash there any more. This after a few weeks prior they told him to buy chairs and a gazebo for his clients. But lo and behold a new car wash opened up last week! Something doesn’t add up. Why wasn’t he allowed to carry on, but now there is a new car wash?
Very convenient for the new car wash is a client base that was earned through hard work and sure determination by Rasta Charles and his team.

Tiffany’s Shopping Centre manager Nicky Vorster replies:
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond.
Unfortunately I had no alternative but to terminate Charles’ car wash as he did not meet the centre’s requirements. In saying so I feel I should mention he was given three opportunities to rectify the situation, over the last ten months. Due to public request we have sourced another car wash.
