Don’t focus on Gaza alone

I congratulate you on the unprejudiced manner in which you do your “Letters” and this of course is a hallmark of your great success as a newspaperman.
However, through the medium of your esteemed newspaper, I wish to thank Heidi Kantor for her God-inspired article ‘Don’t just swallow propaganda’, Courier, September 5.
The Stangerians seem to be focusing on Gaza alone. What about the 200 lives slaughtered in Syria and millions displaced? Then the IS killing innocent men, women and children in Iraq? Also take into account lives lost in Afghanistan, Kenya, Libya, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia and Yemen, just to name a few.
Stangerians, please take all facts into account before you judge the tiny nation of Israel. The Israelites lived in Egypt for some 430 years and thereafter using Moses as his commander-in-chief, the Lord God Almighty lead his people through the Red Sea into the Promised Land.
God placed the Israelites in the centre of the earth and no man or power on earth will be able to move them from there.
They are God’s chosen people and He himself will fight for them at the final battle of Armageddon. Be warned.
