I am involved with an offshore group who have signed contract documents for a major US$2bbn investment into mineral processing and beneficiation in KZN.
Their main management team have been here at least five times over the past five years.
Guess what….? When they now applied for multiple entry visas, they had to go and stand personally in the queue at the local SA embassy and were then granted a magnificent three-month multiple-entry visa.
So every time they need to come here to set up the project over the next five years is this what they have to wade through? They have 10-year multiple entry visas for the USA! Guess where they would rather invest? We have not even started with the applications for Critical skills work visas!
Eish!
Should have stuck to being “retired” and gone fishing instead!
