Diwali is so much more to Hindus and humanity as a whole than a festival of lights.
Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world, a fact which many people are ignorant of and Diwali is one of its colourful celebrations.
In a province that hosts the largest single concentration of Indians outside of India, in a country that is democratic and hosts citizens who originated from all over the world and their festivities are well celebrated here, in a community that hosts a growing number of Hindus, I would like for more to be published on such a holy festival and all the other Hindu holy festivals as well, so readers are able to educate themselves on Diwali and everyone can join in the celebrations or at the very least respect these celebrations.
For further information wiki Lord Raam, Diwali, Lord Vishnu, Lord Hanuman, Raama Setu and any other names and terms mentioned above.
I take this opportunity to also wish all Hindus and the local community a  Happy Diwali.
