Water is becoming a major factor which poses a threat to all living things.
People, animals and plants need it to survive.
The pressures to meet water demands are increasing.
The Buddyz say there are many reasons for the crisis: climate change has affected water supplies within the region, rains that usually come and supply the country’s water have come infrequently, dams are 20% lower than normal.
Due to this, municipalities are looking to impose water restrictions on communities.
Another problem is stolen water. According to reports 35% of water is stolen or given out through illegal connections.
We decided to do this because many of us don’t realize its importance.
We take water for granted, but if we don’t make a wise choice and start saving we are heading for disaster.
The Buddyz have also given us some useful information on ways to save water.
Let’s all put our hands together and make a change. Together we all can do it.
