Having spent two weeks in the beautiful Western Cape I would like to ask ward councillor Colin Marsh of the DA if it would be possible for the UIP (Urban Improvement Programme) in Ballito to raise funds to pay for the ANC powers-that-be, to spend some time in the Western Cape in order to learn how a place must be run properly. While there to please study and see for themselves the quality and standard of the low-cost housing supplied!
On the subject of water restriction, take a drive to your local car-wash businesses. You will notice that the initial ‘wetting’ of the vehicle is not done by hose but by bucket loads of water . . . scooped out of large containers being filled by hose-pipe. After the soaping and rag-cleaning of the vehicle it is then again water-bucketed to rinse off all the soap.
One does not have to be a rocket scientist to realise that using a hose-pipe is far more efficient, by far less wasteful and easier for cleaning inside wheel arches, etc. Do me a favour, fire that Siza Water moron who passed such a law.

Actually, it’s a District municipality law- Editor.
