Good news indeed! Your Facebook page reports the arrest of 21 suspects and confiscation of 15 unlicensed firearms as well as a bullet proof vest by a joint operation between SAPS, Hawks and others.
At last, this scourge is being taken seriously – recently, a one-year-old child was shot in a “drive by” incident by these heavily armed “security” thugs. They have been untouchable for long enough.
This industry has held the commuters and residents of KwaDukuza hostage to their power struggles for long enough and the pleas of the people for decent transport, if only for schoolchildren, have been ignored.
The war between the different associations has resulted in enough deaths. Let’s get our priorities right – people before profits.
