Change a tyre, have a chat!

While parking at the beachfront on Saturday morning, we were approached by strangers walking past, who told us we had a flat tyre.
It was very flat, and while deciding what to do (we are both over 70), the people who had informed us about the puncture offered to change the tyre for us. They proceeded to do so and within a very short time we were mobile again.
These people were holidaymakers out for a morning walk and refused all offers of compensation eg. a contribution to a charity of their choice, saying that they enjoyed the chat they had with us.
Typically, we did not ask their names, but I hope they read this letter and accept our very sincere thanks for an incredible act of kindness.
