Why must we travel great distances to see the Zimbabwe Ruins when we have an ever-growing collection right here in Ballito?
There is the unfinished house refered to in previous articles in the Courier and then we have the ancient Ballito Mall ruins, truly a sight not to be missed by any visitor! Now we have yet another building abandoned and falling to pieces! I refer to the nearly completed hotel next to Auto Zone! How can our brilliant-minded city fathers allow these buildings to remain eyesores for all to see when they go to great trouble to obstruct the opening of a very much needed school? Like our government, they work in mysterious ways!
Come on chaps, clean up our once beautiful town and take some positive action against the owners/developers of these derelict buildings.
