I am sure KwaDukuza municipality could make it worth the developers’ while.
Another great improvement at very low cost would be to connect the road past the Alberlito Hospital to the circle at the entrance to Izulu Hotel, that is only about 150 metres of new road which offers another access to The Well, Seaward cottages, the school and the hospital.
It was a great shame that pedestrian tunnels connecting Lifestyle and the Junction were not built under the new road works. Might there still be a chance?
Pity also that the old bridge crossing the N2 was knocked down.
It would have been a safe pedestrian crossing.
And there is a dire need for a wide pedestrian path on the Umhlali Country Club side of the N2 leading all the way to Compensation Station.
There is a very real chance of pedestrians being knocked down in this area as they all walk on both sides of the main road.
