Our councillors deserve better

Very recently I had to pay for our motor vehicle licences at the temporary offices in Salt Rock and was shocked to see this unkempt entrance to our municipality.
Even here in Ballito it has become an eyesore as Frank du Toit so rightly points out. It costs so little to get someone in to tidy-up this entrance and from what I understand, they have employed five cleaners for these small offices.
Question begs, what do they actually do all day long? Money wasted. Furthermore, our councillors who serve all of us and face many problems on a daily basis have had to buy their own kettle, tea and coffee as the urn broke down five months ago.
Whilst the powers-that-be live the high life that we the ratepayers afford them, is this the best you can give our councillors? It is an absolute disgrace!
