Why should we pay for dogs on the beach?

I do believe that the municipality should install tolls on all the arterial roads leading into Ballito.
This would allow residents and visitors to relax once they have paid their dues to drive in Ballito; without any further schemes thought up for the collection of monies.
We pay our rates and what do we get – well let’s not go there because there is really nothing to discuss as we don’t get anything of value.
I agree that dogs should be controlled but why on earth should we pay for them to walk on the beach?
Let’s start another tax for the air we breathe then at least when we expire the only cost will be for the funeral- Oh dear I forgot that the municipality runs the grave yard – bugger!
