Farmers have no recourse to violation

The farmers are the lifeblood of the country and the sustainer of the nation. The smaller farmers produce varities of veggies which is the vital link to the health of the nation. Therefore no cause, reason or means can be used to justify and jeopardise the farming industry. And no government should hinder the farming sector, since it is the backbone of the economy.

Non-black farmers are treated as perpetrators of a crime they did not commit and held responsible for an event which happened a century ago. Their penalty is they are deprived of their homes, livelihood and property, and compensated what government deems it just, whether they accept it or not. Thus their human rights are violated, their constitutional rights are denied them and they have no legal recourse.

But the land claimant who did not even exist in that era are treated as victims. Government compensated them for what was done to their forefathers. Even though their forefathers did not contribute anything or in any way to the country.

But these law-abiding farmers who pay their taxes generate revenue, they produce export quality products and employ a major part of the labour force. And government treats them as if they are not needed or wanted in the country.

But the criminals, rapist and murders, no matter how heinous their crime, have human rights, constitutional rights, are defended by legal aid, are given private medical care and are fed, clothed, educated, entertained and even have a means to earn an income. Their only penalty is to be confined in an institution under government supervision, while their victims are left to suffer the consequences. It seems government values criminals more than the farmers.

Even God would wonder who has bestowed unto mankind such nonsense.
