Now that the UIP has been formed and from what is understood in last week’s Courier they are going to brighten Ballito’s future?

Cobus Oelofse, Barbara Shingler, Dominic Collett and Clinton Markram please tell the community what can be done about this recent land claim that has developed across the N2 from Union Tile. This is a very serious and troubling situation for everyone who lives, works and visits our beautiful Ballito.

Many of us who live around this situation have just had their properties increased in value and you just have to read the crime stats every week to know how bad the crime is in Shakas Head.

If these informal settlements are not eradicated immediately we are going to have more crime than ever before, not to mention the filth that follows these shack dwellings. There will be theft of electricity and water to be added to a long list of negatives.

Please don’t sit back and let this happen, this is time to put your money where your mouth is.
