In four days we have collected over 300 signatures in the Ballito, Chakas Rock and Salt Rock area for a petition against payment of any signage on our premises.

This includes three of the major businesses – Checkers, Spar and Dischem – and also includes professional people such as attorneys and doctors. To date we have had a 98% success rate which is far beyond all expectations.

I refuse to pay this tax. This will create more price hikes on all commodities in an already over-taxed situation which is bleeding our economy.
