The government should fix the mess we find our country in. Spin doctoring things won’t help us at this stage, truth be told.
Xenophobia comes from massive unemployment and lack of control on our borders. People are angry at empty promises made to them by the ANC government. People like King Goodwill Zwelithini ignited the fire that was hidden inside most poor South Africans.
People are hungry and angry at government for allowing drug dealers, child traffickers and feranjas (foreigners) to roam our streets without proper documentation at all. Not all foreigners are criminal but what is the government doing with those who come here with criminal intentions?
Illegal immigrants are even illegally given IDs by corrupt politicians to vote for them, promising them houses and jobs.
It’s your mess, government. Fix it for the sake of our country. As citizens we can live with legal documented immigrants not illegal criminals.
