Through the medium of your newspaper I would like to question why, oh why, do some of Marion Rd property owners find it necessary to dump their garden and building refuse on the kerb side.
For many years Marion Rd South has been blighted by this wanton dumping and now it has spread to Marion Rd North. This is the only area of Ballito that sees such a careless attitude. What has happened to the pride in our environment. We live opposite a gorgeous natural wetland spoilt by some.
Surely these owners should be setting an example to their youngsters. Recycling and the environment comes to mind. As the saying goes, children learn by example.
Come on you lot, the rest of us in the street do not want to share your mess.
