Total rainfall for the month of July as measured by me now stands at 321mm.
This is the highest amount of rain for Ballito (as measured by me) in the 18 years I have kept records. The previous highest was 191mm in July 2012.
The total rainfall for the first seven months (up to now) of this year is 609mm! The best rainfall months are still to come. The total for 2014 was only 659mm. It would be interesting to know what the current situation at the Hazelmere Dam is (not what certain other writers want us to believe!).
