The committee and members of Darnall and District Women’s Institute would like to thank all who attended our Cuppa for Cansa fundraiser on July 29.
We would also like to thank Jason, the Zinkwazi Ski Boat Club manager and all their staff for their help and donation of a lovely hamper for our raffle. Thanks also to Inkunzi Foundry for their donation of iron plates.
Our members provided all the eats and tea sugar etc., Many thanks ladies. The Tree of Hope was beautifully put together by Marilyn Harris, one of our members.
The residents of areas as far away as Mandini came out to support this annual fundraiser. Many thanks to all who assisted in many ways. The hamper was one by Llani Smuts and the plates by Penny Dixon. My special thanks to all those who worked so hard to make the day a success.
