On July 25, I had an unfortunate incident where I was assaulted with a hammer to several places on my head by some unknown individuals at Sable Road in Ballito.
The attackers left me for dead. Two surfer/life savers (a black gentleman and a white gentleman) together with a gentleman in a green coloured Land Cruiser noticed my need for help and rushed to me offering their assistance.
To these men, I wish to send out a heartiest thank you and immense appreciation for going beyond your calls of duty as well as your time to attend to me and ensuring that I was rushed to the hospital in time to be saved from death.
To the Netcare ambulance team (the young lady and young gentleman) that came to the scene of the attack, your professionalism does not go unnoticed. I wish to send a big thank you to your team as well.
To the staff at the casualty department, ICU and surgical wards at Alberlito Hospital, thank you for doing your best in ensuring my recovery. To Dr T. Pillay (plastic surgeon), Dr N. Govender (neurosurgeon), and their team, thanks for the successful outcome of my operations.
Lastly, to the life savers, the gentleman with the green Land Cruiser and the members of the ambulance, can you please contact me on 0822003342 as I wish to personally thank each of you.
