Dog Box street market soon

I would like to start this letter by thanking the community for their donations, goods and cash, to the SPCA. Without you all, there would be no Dog Box! It helps make our dedicated inspectors’ lives so much easier.

Another grateful thank you goes out to our team of happy volunteers that keep the shop open come rain or shine. Without them there also would be no Dog Box.

We would all like to say a fond farewell to Yvonne Hands who has worked with the SPCA for over 20 years. Yvonne and Michael are moving to pastures new and will be sadly missed. We wish them well for the future.

Now our begging bowl is being held out! Can you all please go through cupboards, drawers and whatever else holds those items that are not used by you and your families. Your junk is our jewel!

We will be holding another Street Market in November so are collecting “stuff” for that. Date to be advised.

Finally if you have not paid our shop a visit, do yourselves a favour, we have the best second hand book shop (was going to say in the world but COULD be lying!) in the area.

See you there.
