We don’t worship the same God

My humble answer to the question posed by Mr Anwar Syed of Stanger (Don’t we worship the same God? Courier, August 12), is: No!

The gods worshipped by true Christians and that worshipped by true Muslims are as different as light and darkness.

I won’t like to beat about the bush, I would like you to “dispassionately” read the book “Who is this Allah” by GJO Moshay (Chick Publications). The book will answer all your questions about the Christian God and provide you some information on the one you worship.

John 3:16- “For God so loved the world (A. Syed included- my insertion), that He sent His only begotten Son that those who believe in Him shall have life.” I will also ask you to read Matthew 28:16-20 and tell me what our Lord Jesus Christ was talking about.

I also refer you to read these verses where our Lord was referring to Himself as being equal/same with God the Father: John 10:30; John 14:9; John. Also read John 5:18, John 8:58, and Matthew 23:9, to mention just a few.

I don’t like arguing over words when it comes to my salvation. I pray for the sake of your soul that you do the same. Thanks.
