Umhlali police are on the ball

I was staying on a farm near Tinley Manor last Saturday night, when I woke around 12 to find a burglar standing right next to my bed. I started chasing him but was unable to catch him after falling through a wooden deck in front of the house during the chase.

We phoned Umhlali police station and the guys’ response was amazing. The suspect had stolen items worth around R14 000 before I woke up.

In minutes a power force from Umhlali police pulled together to catch this person. I activated my cellphone tracker and we were able to track the suspect. We got close to catching him but he slipped away and shots were fired. We later managed to catch the suspect and retrieve all items that were stolen.

I have written to the station but I really want the public to read some good about the police for a change!
