Bureaucrats need to be the very best

In democracy people on the ground are ruled by bureaucrats such as judges, prosecutors, police, teachers, department managers, municipal workers, border security, customs and many more. Bureaucrats are directly in touch with people.

First and foremost, if you have a highly skilled or qualified bureaucracy it will be very good for our country. If bureaucrats are not skilled or qualified then the country will not only come to a standstill but it will start to fall apart.

We humbly request all present day bureaucrats to please, please put our country first. Say no to corruption and do your duty for your country with love, pride and honesty. When our bureaucrats are not interested to do their day to day duties or jobs for their own country then our country is not going to move forward. Please work hard to save this beautiful country before it is too late and it becomes a banana republic. Please do not loot your own country. You have the power to save this country. You will one day pass this country on to your own children. Are you willing to give to your own children a bankrupt and corrupt country?

Secondly, all religious bodies like churches, mosques and temples should teach their followers about the importance of loving our country, saying no to corruption and working hard and loyally at your jobs or duties.

At present ours is the only country in the whole of Africa that is a developing country together with Russia, China, India and Brazil. If we don’t wake up soon we won’t be in that group anymore.

I think that television and social media networks like SABC, DSTV, Internet, Facebook, Twitter, print media should run campaigns promoting ideas to people to love and appreciate our country! SABC should air programmes like Border Security, Bait Car, FBI Files where bureaucrats show how they protect and put their country’s security first and that’s why countries like India, China, Europe, America, Australia are progressing and moving forward.

Every bureaucrat should take a daily oath before starting work that they will do their duty to their country with love and without corruption because we love our country. Love South Africa!
