As I entered the Woolies entrance to Ballito Mall on Sunday morning, there in the walkway toddling along on unsteady little legs was the most precious little boy, his soft golden hair almost shone like a halo framing his beautiful smile and as our eyes met he clapped his little hands and made a bee-line for me.
I hugged him and kissed his little head and a lady walked up to me. His Granny told me his name is Luke and shared with me the challenges this little ray of sunshine was facing so early in his young life.
I don’t believe this was a “chance” meeting. I entered that building bemoaning my lot in life and feeling sorry for myself and left grateful and hopeful again, sensing that this had indeed been a divine appointment, a God moment and that I had been in the presence of an angel.
I will not forget your little face, and I will pray for you Luke and your family – that God will hold you all in the palm of His hand as you walk through this season in your lives.
