Security service at its best

Sometimes, on an ordinary day, all it takes is an ordinary person to restore one’s faith in humanity.

Last night we came across one such person (who is actually far beyond extraordinary, mind you). An impulsive late night swim at granny’s pool with our visiting Jo’burg cousins led to us losing their car keys.

I called Viva Security to find out if they could lend us a stronger light so we could search more thoroughly and within minutes a security officer (Patrick) arrived with a light and proceeded to search the beach. After a futile search, he then proceeded to reassure our guests that he would patrol the car park every half an hour or so to make sure the vehicle and all the valuables were not at risk. And the cherry on top, I had a call from JP Viljoen this morning, who has asked one of his vehicles to stand at the car park until the spare keys to our guests’ vehicle arrive from Jo’burg.

I have not experienced service like this in any other industry and I would like to commend JP and Patrick for the professionalism and absolute efficiency with which they responded. I would recommend them in a second! Oh and by the way, we aren’t Viva clients.
